La tela, lunga circa cinquanta metri, è stata installata all’interno della galleria perchè il dinamismo della composizione fosse esaltato dal movimento del treno. Il titolo richiama una celebre poesia di Arthur Rimbaud, Il fabbro, i cui versi in francese si mescolano al groviglio dei segni colorati dell’opera.

The canvas, which is around 50 metres long, is displayed on the wall facing the platform as the dynamism of the composition is intensified by the movement of the trains. The title recalls a well-known poem by Arthur Rimbaud, Le Forgeron, whose verses are written in French against the backdrop of the swirling colours of the work.
