Questa serie di fotografie fa parte di una ricerca di Jodice sulle origini e sulla cultura del Mediterraneo. Sono immagini di volti, “occhi spalancati che hanno visto vicende lontane, bocche che hanno parlato le origini della nostra stessa lingua, personae che tornano a noi attraverso la concretezza del marmo o del mosaico” (Roberta Valtorta, 2003)

This series of photographs is part of Jodice’s study of the origins and culture of the Mediterranean. It consists of images of faces with “wide-open eyes that have seen the events of long ago, mouths that have spoken the origins of our very language, personae that come back to us through the concrete marble and mosaic” (Roberta Valtorta, 2003).
