METRO ART STATIONS LINE 6
Naples Metro Line 6, opened to the public in July 2024 and connected to Line 1 via the Piazza Municipio interchange, has enriched the city's cultural heritage with striking contemporary architecture and high-quality artistic interventions.
Among these is the Arco Mirelli station, located along the Riviera di Chiaia and designed by Hans Kollhoff, featuring the poetic installation by Rebecca Horn. The San Pasquale station, conceived as a “dizzying descent into the sea” by architect Boris Podrecca, integrates the artistic work of Peter Kogler.
Equally remarkable is the monumental Chiaia station, designed by Uberto Siola as a multi-level structure serving as a vertical link between different parts of the city. It is distinguished by Peter Greenaway’s artistic intervention, a true "mythological journey" unfolding throughout the station’s spaces, from the Skies of Olympus to the mysterious depths of the Underworld.
